“I got my start in the building materials industry back in 1975 loading and unloading bagged cement, roof shingles and stacking lumber the ‘old-fashioned’ way in Northern NH. I then graduated to operating equipment, driving trucks, booming drywall, and yard management. An opportunity presented itself within the same retail operation to pre-build, frame, finish, and set-up onsite homes, eventually leading to blueprint design and estimating. In 1985 I became the General Manager of the retail operation working along with contractors, estimating and supporting their projects. Along the way, I had the pleasure of serving as construction manager for schools and other commercial projects. My attention to detail has become second nature!
My hobbies include horses, haying-land management at my mountaintop Vermont farm, annual trips to Montana, and the joy of being a grandfather.”
